What is monocouche or K Rendering as its commonly known?
Monocouche render is made up of quality aggregates, sands and is cement and/or lime based. Although k rend also do a monocouche with silicone incorporated into it.
It comes in a wide range of shades from varying manufacturers.
The render is scraped or scratched whilst it is finished to reveal the aggregate. Which gives a flat, slightly pitted textured finish.

Insulation

Like with any external surface it can get dirt build up over time and an annual maintenance and wash down is recommended . However, we do offer a breathable sealer which gives the render added protection against dirt build up and can keep your home looking great for years to come.
